These portable industrial tachometers measure the rotational speed of any moving part, at a distance or by contact. The integral optical sensor uses a source of infared light, irrespective of the surrounding lighting. A microprocessor manages the display, the programming, the change of range and the calculations, with a measurement accuracy of 0.01%. The dual 1,000,000 count digital display and 42 segment bar graph provide maximum ease of reading. By simply fitting a mechanical adaptor, the user can make measurements by contact: rotational or roller speed. Alarm programming, bi-directional RS232 link and operational software are exclusive to the CA27 Tachometer.
